Accreditation in the GCC Accreditation Center (GAC) 20.12.2016 10:50The accreditation was carried out as part of the Joint Venture's accreditation procedure in the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA).
The accreditation was preceded by months-long gradual work of the International Center for Halal Standardization and Certification and "GulfTIC" company. The team of GAC auditors examined the documentation, checked the work of the certification body. Staff of «Gulftic-ICSC Halal» additionally passed necessary trainings and educational courses. The auditors from GAC conducted an audit of the poultry farm of CJSC «Stavropol broiler», a branch of the meat-poultry factory «Blagodarnenskiy», part of the Group of Agribusinesses «Resurs», as well as slaughterhouses for cattle and goats, as well as meat and semi-finished products factory «Optimum» (Ecole).
During the inspection, the auditors checked the production for compliance with «Halal» requirements, ensuring the control of the entire technological process, conducting a professional and religious assessment of the activities of personnel involved in the production of «Halal» products.
Based on the results of the audit, on November 12 the Accreditation Center of the GCC countries (GAC) decided to accredit the Joint Venture "Gulftic-ICSC" Halal" for the certification of animal and poultry slaughter, as well as production of meat products.
Accreditation in GAC ensures the recognition of certificates of "Gulftic-ICSC Halal" in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Yemen, as well as in a number of other countries.
